I must say that Reham & Ammar’s wedding was simply beautiful. Relaxed – yet nobody was shy to express their complete and utter joy at this marriage! From the moment I met Reham, she was easy-going and full of smiles. What I loved most were the cups of tea being enjoyed a few hours before the Wedding, the remixed Gangnam song replaced with the words “it’s Iraqi style!”, and the DJ who just knew how to work the crowd!  I found myself constantly smiling whilst kneeling on the floor to capture some of the floor-to-ceiling dance moves, as the guests took it in turns to either embrace the dance floor or stand on the edges cheering the others dancing the night away!

I feel so blessed that people give me the honour to capture their most precious moments, that day turns stomachs into wobbly things but elates the heart at the same time! What brings me even more happiness is when I am accepted as family, as I was at Reham & Ammar’s Wedding. It leaves me with a completely utopian feeling that I’ve just joined another family along my travels, and I know I’ll be sure to seem them again soon. The texts and emails that follow after the couple have received the photos is so exciting for me, as is sharing my world with all of you!

I love what I do as I do what I love.

I know I don’t say it often enough, but thank you to every single one of you for your support & love.

Here’s to an exciting 2014!
